1. You can refer to 7.4.5 definitely.

2. Supplement mode is the intermediate state when the TPS61094 transfers between boost_on and buck_on opetation. In Supplement mode, Boost mode is active and the bypass MOSFET operates as an LDO, the VIN and SUP power source supply the output load together.

Do you want to operate in buck mode? From my point of view you should set the device in boost mode.

3.You can refer to 8.2 to calculate the capacitance. The size depends on your requirements. We don't have typical recommendation about the size.

Sorry to the late reply, i was in long vacation.

1. After additional thought, i need solution to my SoM that work at 3.3V with current requirements 1.2Amp.

So:

Vin = 5V to the SoM. Vout requirements = 3.3V/1.2Amp, once Vin fall down, the power will come from super capacitor. I need Vout sable = 3.3V/1.2Amp for 8 sec.

2. section 8.2, not gave me a formula for calculating the size of a super capacitor , my question is, what size of  super capacitor if i need Vout = 3.3V/1.2Amp for 8 sec. Please provide formula for calculating the size of a super capacitor.

3. Please suggest correct application. I think i will charge my super capacitor up to 2.4V and once Vin fall down I should set the device in boost mode, Vout = 3.3V.

for my application Vin=5 and Vout=3.3V, section 7.4.5 is correct ?

Thank you for suggestion, but there not clear calculating size of a super capacitor

exist - the total discharge power is

P_Supercapacitor = 1.755C, what i can understand from that ? what size capacitor for 7 Sec.

To make it clear. We don't have any typical recommendation on the size of capacitor, the size is based on the customer's requirements themselves. We can only give comments on the capancitance, just as is shown in the below figure.

Sorry that you can only choose the size by yourself.
