Lets say we have this graph:

Old settings, no VCT set
According to the reference manual, the VCT will be set, because the voltage is higher than the termination voltage, and the current is lower than the current threshold. I know the term. current usually should be lower than the charger current, but this is a LiFePo4 battery and its fine.
However, the VCT will not be set. But when I set the Term. Current to a way too high value (20A instead of 5A, while my charger is still the same 4A one), the VCT is set. Just like this graph where the red line indicates the new setting:

New setting in red, VCT is set
This is totally not expected, because the old 5A threshold was easily met with the 4A charger. Can someone please explain why I have to set my termination current that high?
One sidenote is that my battery is configured to be 300mAh with a 100x scale factor. So my setting for the current is 200mA for the 20A and 50mA for the 5A. This will influence the minimum of 0,25mAh being charged, but has no relation to my problem, I guess.
