Can excessive reverse current damage UA78M33 during power-off if the output is biased when the input supply is not established?

Hi Kato,

This is a bipolar device, so when powered off there is inherent reverse current protection, now if reverse current is being forced on the device, high VOUT with low VIN repeatedly then yes there is concern that damage may occur on the pass devices.
