BQ24075: Temperature monitoring during discharge

Hi team,

We monitor the temperature when charging, but can't this one monitor the temperature when discharging?
Also, are there any devices other than the BQ24075 that can monitor temperature during discharge?

Take a look at the BQ2515X family of devices. These devices are I2C based and can monitor the TS pin at any time.

Hi Anthony,

The BQ24075 has a charging current of 1.5A and none of the BQ2515X has only 0.5A.
Is it possible to constantly monitor the temperature of all I2C controlled ones such as BQ2562X?

Hi Ryu,

The BQ2562x devices are able to monitor the TS through the TS_ADDC register when the TS pin bias is active. The BQ25620, for example, uses an external resistor divider when compared to the BQ24075.
