Hi sir,

There are 3 questions about BQ25611D below.

1. Is it DCP mode if the D+ and D- are shorted by 100ohm?

2. What does "adapter is detected as unknown" mean? Under what conditions will it be judged as unknown?

3. If an adapter is detected as unknown=> input current limit=500mA. Does it mean stop charging?

Hi,

1. Yes.

2. If D+ and D- pins are open.

3. Unknown adaptor only determines on the initial input current limit, it will not impact on the charging status. After the input current limit detection is complete, the host may modify the input current limit via I2C.
