BQ20Z90 - Need software

Hi there,

I have some returned devices that use the BQ20Z90 gauge.

I found the page on TI's site for this part, but all the links are broken.

How can I go about getting the necessary software to read the gauge? I have both EV2300 and EV2400, I just need the software.

Thank you very much! It is indeed for a field return, we don't use these in production anymore.
I just want to read out the gauge contents as part of the investigation.

Hi Dominik - we have another version of the same battery here that uses the bq20z95 gauge. Could I push my luck and ask for the software for that part as well please?

What is the exact firmware version? You can use EVSW for bq20z90 to determine this. Use sub-command 0x0002.

Hi Domink, I'm a colleague of Gareth. I used the SW in this forum thread and the Read SMB word (SB Command 02) and the result was Result(hex) 000A.

I am still having trouble with the Data Flash. When I try to do a Data Flash Read I get the following error:

Communications error...

Error reading Data Flash Subclass Voltage, Code =6

Is this the information you require to send us the correct SW version?
