Hello,
Upon testing LM5167 EVM, I find that there is a low (~2kHz) output voltage ripple on top of the expected 250kHz output voltage ripple. PSpice simulation does not show this condition.
Test Settings:
Input: DC Power supply @ 24V*
*Also tested with 21V battery input and 2kHz ripple was still present
Output: DC Load at 12V, 1A
Oscilloscope Output:
CH1: I_out (AC)
CH2: V_out (AC)
Zooming in, 250kHz switching frequency can be seen at output (as expected).
PSpice Simulation: (Only 250kHz switching freq output ripple present)
