Dear TI team,
I am planning to replace P-Ch MOSFET based High Side Load Switch with N-Ch MOSFET + HS Driver IC. Load current is 10Adc/60Vdc. Reverese polarity protection is not required.
Reason is to reduce the cost of my existing P-ch MOSFET.
The driver selected for this application is LM74501-Q1 ( reverse polarity protection controller ).
MOSFET conenctions to LM74501-Q1 made as per requirement. Q1 drain pin is connected to driver Source Pin.
F1 (PTC, 10mA Hold) & D1 (TVS, SMAJ64A) added to protect the driver from HV.
In our end application voltage can rise upto 100V for <500mS duration.
