TPS62A01: Skip pulses if the smallest PWM is too long?

Part Number: TPS62A01
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS64203

Hi Experts,

Good day. Initiating this thread from Dietmar (customer), raising technical concerns with TPS62Ax application in placed of TPS64203.

We use an TPS64203 for a Wide Range DC/DC Converter. Vin = 15V ....150V and would change to your new Type TPS62A0x.

One big Advantage of this Part is that he can regulate the Switching Frequenz and also skip Pulses in light Load .

The new Part TPS62Ax is available in Power save Mode and in forced PWM Mode.

Question:
Does the Version with forced PWM-Mode skip Pulses if the smallest PWM is to long?

Thank you.

Regards,
Archie A.
