TLVM23625: Gray area = Copper pad?

Hi Team,

I am looking at the Land pattern example in page 48. I was a bit confused with the drawing.

I interpret the drawing as:

Gray = Copper pads

Light Green = Soldermask opening

Blue = Metal under mask

Which makes the land pattern a solder mask defined. Am I correct?

The drawing referenced is SMD drawing.

Gray outline= metal

Green=solder mask open

Blue circles= suggested places to put thermal vias if decided to. Not necessary.
