    Hello Richard, 

    The differences can be found on the device datasheet but in general the variants usually determine the device comms interface, CRC enabled, and if the integrated LDO's are enabled by default. The device variants are otherwise the same specs, please see the screen capture below.

    Thank you I missed it in the datasheet, thanks for helping me out.  Do any of these variants have a difference in their shutdown behavior? I have another question on this forum regarding communications persisting during shutdown which doesn't seem correct.

    Hi Richard, 

    All device functionality should remain the same between all device variants and even the BQ769x2 family in general. The variants are simply factory programmed defaults for the parameters stated above for a more turn-key solution for our customers.

    The shutdown behavior could be caused by other factors altogether. We hope to resolve your question in the respective thread.
