UCC29950: IMPLEMENTING CANONICAL SWITCHING CIRCUIT topology

Hello:

In order to minimize BOM and size, we are planning to use UCC29950 with the CSC PFC on the input side. This will allow wider output with LLC configured with wider power outputs.

Does anybody have experience with this implementation?

Can we get an EVM to try it out and report on its functioning for the benefit of all?

Any help in the matter will be highly appreciated

Unfortunately, we dont have an EVM for this controller.

You can find few reference designs including PCB gerber files here: UCC29950 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

Hi Robin,

Thank you for your interest in the UCC29950. I can't find any references for a canonical design.

Unfortunately, this EVM is no longer stocked by our suppliers so it would be difficult to obtain one to try.
