If I could flash the firmware (which I updated), then is the board connected via the ribbon cable, but instructions over the cable are not lighting the LEDs?

This board shows every sign of DOA. Maybe a manufacturing issue?

Hi Ives,

This is taking too long. I bought the eval board to help me debug why the led matrix drivers that I bought are not working. The eval unit is DOA. This is delaying my main project, and I have not even started debugging the problem that I bought the eval board for!

I would like a replacement please, but it must be tested with all of its cables etc as working before it is shipped out to me. I do not want to end up with the same situation.

I will also return the defective unit. Please send me an RMA number and the address to return it to. Will TI pay for shipping?

Please confirm and let's do this quickly as I have lost another week already.
