Hi Team
my customer would like to know the operation behavior while high side MOSFET drain to source short
see following circuit
thanks a lot

Hi Eric,
the experiments result in EVM, are you able to explain the operation principle
In case of high side mos short circuit (Q1 DS short),
supply the Vin into the board from DC source
I saw that the gate of low side MOS (Q2) is still working,
But the DC source used as input is limited.
The lines and parameters used are as follows, no changes have been made.
Before Short
Vin = 22V, Vo = 5V 0A
After Short Q1DS
Vin=7V, Vo=7V 0A

Hello Red
If the input power supply effectively limits the shoot-through current, the system will restart or will stay at the condition that the amount of shoot-through current equals with the current limit level of your input power supply.
