TPS22965-Q1: YPS22965-Q1

Part Number: TPS22965-Q1

Hi Team,

I have some queries related to this part.

1. Inside the TI datasheet for TPS22965-Q1 the unit of slew rate is mentioned as shown below(us/V). But slew rate is change in voltage w.r.to time and unit is Volt/us right. Can you please check and confirm ?

2. I am doing the worst-case calculation for this part. Currently I am calculating below parameters. Is there any other parameters I missed in the below list.

a) Input to Output Voltage drop.

b) Slew rate.

c) Rise time for input and output

d) Power Dissipation of switch.

e) Junction temperature.

Best Regards,

Siburaj D.S.

  • Siburaj,

Yes, the slew rate calculation is in microseconds per volt, so the conversion would have to be done from microseconds to seconds if you want to convert.

"worst-case calculation" is pretty open- but it seems that you have all the right parameters there.

The following deep dive covers some of the more detailed test condition/cases:

  • Hi Timothy,

    Thanks for your quick response.

Normally slew rate unit will be in volt per microsecond or volt per second right.

I have checked multiple documents and everywhere the unit mentioned is volt per microsecond instead of microseconds per volt mentioned in TI Datasheet.

    Best Regards,
