Hi team,

My customer is trying to use this device and came up with one question.

They are using ver A and IN=H.

When they are using light load and the output current is less than Iol,on (typ. 6mA max 10mA), /ST will be asserted. They want to prevent this.

Is there any way they can disable this open load detection at light load?

If there aren't any way to disable this, the customer will put an extra resistor so that it will flow more than 10mA at vany condition.

Hi Ohashi-san,

It is possible to disable this feature by pulling DIAG_EN low.

Thanks for your support.

If the DIAG_EN is low, all the other dignostics will be disabled too, right?

So, there aren't any way to disable only open detection. Is this correct?

Hi Ohashi-san,

There is no way to only disable the open load detection. It is part of the diagnostics provided by the device.
