BQ25619: About REGN GND Reference and BATSNS capacitor

Part Number: BQ25619

Hi,

I've the following 2 questions regarding the implementation circuit of the bq25619.

  1. According to the datasheet, the REGN LDO requires a capacitor connected to Analog GND. This appears int he Pins description (Table 6-1).
However, in the eval board this capacitor is connected to PGND, and not to AGND.
Can you clarify which is the best place to connect this capacitor?

  2. In the datasheet of the bq25619 there is no specific recommendation for the connection of the BATSNS pin, other than connecting it as close as possible to the battery.
However, in the eval board, there is a capacitor of 0.1uF (C20) connected to this trace.
Can you clarify if this capacitor is required, and what is its purpose?

Thanks,

Leonardo
