Hi 

We uses TPS54202HDDCT to design a Step-Down Voltage Converter.

Vin is 20V, Vo is 5V ,Io is 1A

Could you help check the schematic? thank you

    Hi Hank,

    Please refer to the typical application circuit in the datasheet.

    1.Add a 0.1uF input capacitor as close as possible to the VIN pin;

    2.Please change the lower voltage divider resistor to 13.3k ohms;

    3.Why use 100uH inductor and 10uF capacitor? Are there any special considerations? That affects the loop response, suggest to use the recommended inductor and capacitor values.

    4.What are the functions of C16 and C17? suggest to delete.
