LP8860-Q1: LED Driver ID value

Hello!

Could you please help me out about LP8860-Q1 identification. In the datasheet there is no value given for FULL_LAYER_REVISION and METAL_REVISION.
What is the expected values of the ID register (0x12)? Is it possible that the value may change?

Hello

The LED Driver will be used as a display panel backlight circuit.

In the display test machine we usually check the communication lines and the IC by reading out some kind of manufacturing ID or hw ID.
The test sequence is currently under developement and I do not have a product yet, but I would like to move forward as far as I can.

(Beside this ID I plan to check several other values, like LED Current, LED PWM Freq and Temp, and a programming will take place too.)

In the LP8860-Q1EVM Users's Guide I could find a EEPROM Map.

Is 0b00010000 the correct value? Is it possible that this value will change in case of any hw change?

This value is related with the manufacturer. You can ignore this register.

And it is a read-only register. It cannot be changed.
