Part Number: TPS51200

Please review attached schematic.

  • Hi Rolf,

    A couple things to note:

    • VIN: if you don't plan on excessive noise coming from VPP, although you do have ferrite bead here, then it should be fine to swap 10uF for 4.7uF, unless you want this by design.
    • EN: please ensure this is reaching the correct logic levels required. If you are tying this to VPP/VIN source to come up at the same time with VIN, it is recommended to put a resistor here to ensure EN is lower than VIN, and to separate EN from this source to manually make EN come up should future debugging be required. Because I can't see where VTT1_EN goes, this may already be the case, or this is already accomplished and may be fine.
    • VOSNS: please consider adding a 0-ohm resistor here. This will help if future debugging is required and if an RC filter is needed. Additionally if you expect the trace to be long on the PCB, please consider adding a depopulated capacitor space from here to ground, in the event an RC filter is needed this can be easily populated. If they turn out to be unnecessary, then they can be removed from final design.

Otherwise, schematic looks good! When doing the layout please consider the following guidelines on page 27 in section 10.1 of the datasheet linked here.

    Thanks,
    Field
