Hello team,

Have a good day !

In reference to test charger Board I want to simulate Battery Pack Smbus Broadcast using MCU ( i.e. Arduino ). So that I can test Charger board ( 100 Qty ) without actual fuel gauge based battery.

I would like know to what exact command (Hex Byte ) i need to send in order to do that ? Any application Note or Document ?

Hello Shirish,

Can we Capture this data using BqEVSW software / Battery mgmt Studio by Fuel guage BCAST bit set ?

Also , Would Like to know does fuel gauge broadcast current and Voltage value irrespective of Charger request to read it ?

Hello Bhupendra,

bqEVSW/bqStudio does not have the ability to sniff the bus. Broadcast is sent based on gauge settings, there is no request involved
