Hi TI experts...

I have a design with these parameters:

Vin = 12 V

Vout = -12 V

Iout = 3 A

Is this component recommended to make this voltage inversion? I already did it but when I put a load on the coil it starts to make noise.
If this component is not suitable, do you recommend any other?

Hi Jesus,

The main concern for inverting-buck-boost designs is to make sure the VIN pin is able to handle VIN + |VOUT|. It looks like it is ok. You may also use this app note as a reference.

which circuit would you recommend for inrush current?

Hi Jesus,

In the app note linked above, there's an internal soft-start circuit that limits inrush current. The part number is LMR14020.
