TPS40425: how to use PMBus to program tha TPS40425

Dear

I am currently looking to program the TPS40425 device using the PMBus protocol. However, I am unable to utilize software such as FUSION_DIGITAL_POWER_DESIGNER for this purpose.

I was wondering if there is any datasheet available that explains how to program the device using the PMBus protocol. Any information or guidance you can provide on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Mario,

    Section 7.6 Register Maps of the TPS40425 Datasheet  should be a good place to start regarding PMBus functionality and using it with this device.

    Section 7.7 Supported PMBus Commands  in the same datasheet lists all the PMBus commands for this device.

    I am not sure how familiar you are with I2C programming but I would recommend visiting the PMBus.org website for detailed information on the PMBus protocol itself.
