Hi Christina,
We have begun review. Please expect feedback by the end of this week.

Hi Garett,
Thanks for the feedback.
May I ask also the correct connection of R45, is it should be connected to GND or VCC, or any one can be connected.
Thanks!
Christina
Hi Christina,
Please see my feedback from review below.
- DSEL pin is to be connected to a pull up rail via a 10 Kohm resistor. R45 connection is correct. If customer does not need function of DSEL pin can be left floating.
-TI does not recommend leaving OTG pin floating. If OTG boost mode is not used please short it to ground.
-Battery should be connected to BAT pin not the SYS output pin. Schematic and layout show battery (J4 connector) correctly connected to BAT, but also a net labeled "VBAT" connected at the SYS pin output. Please help to verify if customer is connecting battery to SYS. This will need to be modified if they are.
All other connection to BQ25890 look good.
Best Regards,
Garrett
Hi Garrett,
Thanks for the feedback.
Unfortunately, the customer had already layout their board and the OTG pin is floating.
May I know the potential risk?
Thanks,
Christina
Hi Christina,
The risk is with OTG pin floating its state (high verse low) cannot be guaranteed. If they never plan to use OTG boost function it should not be an issue because OTG_CONFIG (REG03 bit 5) will be set to 0b by default to disable OTG mode.
Best Regards,
Garrett
