We have been using the TPS65100 on numerous design with great success.
We have a design that has been n production for over a year.
Recently, the LCD manufacturer revised the module, which resulted in the need to reconfigure the TPS65100 to new voltage values and a second stage of the VGL circuit.
We have assembled (with LCDs) 50 units and only have 50% units that pass test and work perfectly every time.
The balance of the units virtually never work. The TPS65100 comes on, and within ~40ms, shuts off.
1 in 25 tries, the TPS65100 will come up, but usually with incorrect voltages and the LCD image will be incorrect.
