TPS7A47-Q1: Will TPS7A47 has additional thermal protection against 36V->1.4V/Short scenario?

Part Number: TPS7A47-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A47

Hi,

When TPS7A47's output is short when VIN=36V, VOUT=1.4V and IOUT is short. Therefore the power dissipation on pass FET will be about 36*1.26=45W. Will thermal shutdown protects the device in time? I know some LDO, when pass FET's power dissipation is too large, it will damage because internal FETs's highest temperature could have temperature accumulation when TSD is in and out, At the end, the FET can enter thermal avalanche breakdown. Will TPS7A47 has something called foldback current limit?

Below green line is FET's highest temp. Black line is thermal sensing temperature. Thank you for the help.
