BQ25611D: How to restart the BQ25611D

Hi BU team,

When the adapter exists, I want to force the BQ25611D to restart by pressing and holding the power button QON for 10 seconds. Which register do I need to set? Thanks.

Hi Charlie,

To be able to perform full system reset with the adapter present please set BATFET_RST_WVBUS = 1b (REG07 bit 4).

So during normal charging, the BATFET_RST_WVBUS should be set to 0, right? Thanks.

Hi Charlie,

There is no issue with having BATFET_RST_WVBUS = 1 during normal charging. The system reset function only starts when QON is pushed low for t_QON_RST (~10 sec).
