TPS22953-Q1: Design Support

Hi

I'm Sandra, Design Engineer at Tessolve Semiconductor, India.

We are currently in need for an automotive Load switch with current rating 10 Amps or greater for our automotive design.

Identified a TI part “TPS22953-Q1” with current rating 5 Amps and would like to know some details about this part.

Since our requirement is Load switch with 10 Amps or greater, we stacked two TPS22953-Q1 to provide 10 Amps out in our design as shown in the figure below.

Kindly help us clarifying the queries listed below.

  1. Kindly confirm if this topology shown in the figure can be followed using TPS22953-Q1 to get 10 Amps at output.
  2. If not, is there any other way we can achieve the required output current of 10Amps using TPS22953-Q1
  3. Do you see any potential issues with this topology?
  4. Do TI have another automotive Load switch part with 10Amps or greater to suggest.
