Power module design and communication for DC EV charger

Hi TI Team,

I am checking few documents related DC EV charger and power module in DC EV charger. I have few doubts related to this.

1. When we are connecting same value power module in parallel to increase the power then why can't we swap these modules?

2. What information Power module communicate with main controller of DC EV charger? (They are using CAN protocol for this, right?)

Are you trying to swap specific off the shelf power modules? I suppose it depends on the specific module you're trying to swap. Are the modules in question from different or same venders?

These module might have authentication ID etc.

2. What information Power module communicate with main controller of DC EV charger? (They are using CAN protocol for this, right?)

CAN is a likely interface for communication.
