bq27210 I2C read error

Hi,

 

I am working on a BMS project and has to program bq27210 and read SOC and other parameters every 5 seconds. I use PIC to communicate with the gauge but having some issues with it. When i read temperature from reg 0x06- 0x07 using incremental read, i get 5 different values on each read, as 0x4C4, 0x9FFC, 0xFFE2, 0x7FF1, 0x3FF8 and these comes randomly.

Please help me if you know what i am doing wrong here. Thanks in advance.
