Keep getting "ERROR(ORPSIM-16318): Missing or invalid expression" when trying to simulate LM5157_TRANS.DSN, schematic LM5157_EVM_STARTUP, page Startup.

No changes were made to the design. File(s) as supplied by TI in SNVMC64A.ZIP.

I have assigned this thread to a colleague of mine who is more familiar with PSpice than I am.

Hello Val,

I am really sorry for the long delay.
Due to a PSpice version update, some models now showed a syntax error which lead to the "invalid expression" error message.
I have fixed the netlist file and uploaded the new model so it get updated in the TI library.

The new model should be updated on the product page within the next 48 hours.
In the meantime, you can already use the fixed model which I attached below.

Are you working on others within the family. I noticed that LM5156 has the same issue.

Hi Val,

Yes, I am also responsible for the LM5156 model.
As LM5156 and LM5157 are from the same product family, they showed the exact same error in the code.
The fixed LM5156 model should have been updated just recently.
Can you check if you are using the newest model version?
