You don't have to debug and re-config USB2ANY in so details at all, it always works. I'd suggest you to double check your USB2ANY driver and GUI installation, you can download the guideline from ti.com

The only but sufficient document is just EVM User Guide. Please double confirm and reinsntall your software and driver. If the issue still exists, please consider the USB2ANY or your EVM have been damaged.

656 can be used as base, so 600 is not a must

The software for 656 is just BQAutoEval, please just follow its EVM user guide for everything.
