TPS7A78: For vout 12V application

Hi,

My customer using MPS MP100L, if I want provide alternative part. Do you have better suggestion?

TPS7A78 seems only can provide up to 5V output voltage.

    Hello Jeff,

    Competitor MP100L is an off-line regulator with an internal LDO that regulates 12V and supply 20mA. I would recommend TPS7A24 based on the information of the internal LDO and if supply voltage <18V. If the AC/DC regulator needed, then yes TPS7A78 is our only option.
