Dear TI staff.
I have one inquiry.
LMZM23600's specification;
"Changed the VIN to GND max from 42 to 40" in Absolute Maximum Ratings.
What is the reason ?
I think that the internal design was not changed.
Is it a review from the actual perfomance of it ?
I preferred "VIN 42V".
Thanks, best regard.
Hi,
This may be because the withstand voltage of some devices inside the chip has been adjusted. In order to avoid damage due to overvoltage, please use the chip according to the changed withstand voltage value. Regarding the withstand voltage of 42V or greater, we will consider it in the design of the new generation of products. Thanks.
