The tech ref says to scale specific parameters in flash when you change Design Energy Scale.
It's obvious that you would divide most of the values by that factor but I am under the impression that you would actually multiply the T Rise value by the scaling factor.
The tech ref doesn't actually state what to do other than scale it so I'd appreciate some clarification.
Also the forum post BQ34Z100EVM: -R2 T rise, Energy Scale and Design Energy Parameters seems to conflict with this where an engineer pointed out
"but the information in the last row for T Rise is not correct, the T Rise is actually related to the CurrScale instead of EnergyScale(), T Rise value in dataflash should be the product of actual T Rise and CurrScale if the reported current is scaled down by CurrScale."
It should be noted that I am aware that the above post is regarding the R2 firmware but this is the only post that I could find regarding modifying the T Rise parameter with respect to any scaling factors. The fact that the engineer claimed it had nothing to do with energy scaling is what concerned me with respect to the G1 firmware.
1. Can I get a confirmation that I do in fact need to scale T Rise if I increase Design Energy Scale?
2. Also can I get confirmation that I should multiply the T Rise value by Design Energy Scale and not divide?
