TPS61376: About ILIM and ILIM_SW

Hi team,

In the datasheet, Ilim_SW is specified as below.

Does min, typ, max value changes with the RLIM value? Is ILIM_SW only determined by the ISEL high lor ow?

Also, for ILIM, can it alway be set to 0.1A~3.0A regardless of ILIM_SW?

I know that in the datasheet, it says:

"The current limit can be programmed from 0.1 A to 3.0 A. It is recommended to set ISEL pin logic low when setting input average current limit below 750 mA.".

But as an irregular case, can ILIM be set higher than 2.5A when ILIM_SW is 2.5A with ISEL low?

    Hi Ohashi,

    ISEL pin sets the peak switching current limit ILIM_SW, two options: high or low.

    RLIM at ILIM pin sets the input current limit. And you can refer to the formula (3) and (4) in page 12.

    The ILIM_SW is the high-level "physical limitation". The ILIM can only be set below the max input current limited by ILIM_SW.
