Hi team,

     Could you please help me to find a device to meet the customer need? I want to recommend the TPS543620, but it does not support the light mode. The frequency of SW is first priority for customer. And then size, light mode and 100% duty cycle.

    Looking over our product offerings, their best bet would likely be the TPS54824, but it's a little bigger at 3.5 x 3.5.

    It offers high switching frequency, light load auto-skip, and very high duty cycle with a boot-strap circuit that allows 100% duty cycle until the boot-strap discharges below 2.4V, then it will generate a minimum OFF time to recharge the bootstrap capacitor.  Selecting a larger boot-strap capacitor will allow the duty cycle to approach closer to 100%.

    Can they accept the slightly larger package?  I'm not seeing anything rated for 17V input and 6A output in a 2mm x 3mm package.

          The tps54824 is nice. But it could not support the light load with high efficiency.Do we have such device?

          For the size, i will discuss whether they can accept the larger package.

    My apologies about that, I thought the part I was looking at had auto-skip light load efficiency, but it appears I was mistake.

    Looking through our other 6A and 8A converters with light load efficiency, I think the TPS56837 offers the highest possible duty cycle, with a minimum off-time of 180ns.  

    The TPS56837 is in a 3mm x 3mm package.
