What chemistry is the battery and how many batteries will be in series? Once I know this I will
be able to recommend a gauge that you should use.

To learn more about calibrating the gauge, you can reference the Technical Reference Manual
of the gauge I recommend.

I would recommend using BQStudios to interface with the Battery fuel gauge.

The battery chemistry is LiCoO_2 . Only one battery in series .

BQ27Z561-R2 power consumption is too high for our product. the Standard operating conditions current is 60uA.

Are there some gauges' power consumption is lower than 10uA? BQ27Z561-R2 is closer for our desirments.

Hello Daniel,

The lowest standard operating condition current that will work with your battery and system is
the BQ27426, which has a standard operating current of 50 microamps. Please note that the
gauge will try to minimize the amount of time that it is in active mode and draws the most current.
If your application is not always drawing a lot of current from the battery, then the gauge can be put into SLEEP
mode which causes the gauge to draw closer to 10 microamps of current. You can read more about SLEEP mode by
reading the technical reference manual (TRM). I will attach section 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 which talks
about NORMAL Mode (which draws 50 microamps) and SLEEP Mode (which draws 9 microamps) for the
BQ27426.

BQ27426 Provides three selectable preprogrammed profiles for 4.2-V, 4.35-V, and 4.4-V cells，does that mean we can't use this chip? Our battery's voltage is 4.1V.

I want to learn about that how to build a autocycle system for the gauges ,can you give some advices ? if I do the learn cycle by myself ,this will need so much working time. What equipments I need and how to connect them and how to control them ? With EV2400 and bqStudio?

You can still use the BQ27426. It would be recommended to use the GPCCHEM tool to get the profile that will best
match the battery you are using. This website talks more in-depth about it: https://www.ti.com/tool/GPCCHEM

You can create your own scripts in python or any preferred language to automate the process of the learning cycle.
For example, some people use a programmable DC Power Supply and have a python script that is used to control the
Power Supply.

I think use a python script can control a power supply,but how to build a connect between the bqStudios and the script ? the bqStudio can control the script or give the script a controlling port or other things ?

The script and BQStudio can work independently of each other. The gauge will know what part of the Learning Cycle
it is in based on the parameters set, and the current and voltage of the battery. You do not need to have BQStudio control the script.
