Good day,
When I do not connect TS to annything, our design charges and the CHG LED comes on. The charger however overheats.
I then realized our battery doesn't have an TS, so I connected it to a 10k resistor to ground.
Now the PG LED comes on, but the battery does not charge and the CHG LED stays off.
The same happens with a battery that has an internal NTC.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Ps. I've measured the voltage to be 4.2V on Out when no battery is connected.
