We test the BQ24725A for the bettery charger and there are below issue:
1. During the testing process, when the battery is low in charge (with a battery voltage of around 9V), it was found that pq5&pq7 were damaged (mos ds short circuited or unable to fully conduct), with a nominal battery voltage of 7.5-13.5V and a VACIN of 15.2V, which requires investigation and analysis;
2. We want to reduce the impulse current of vacin when pq5 is on. Currently, c268 is 100nf. Given the situation, increasing c268 to 220nf may result in the inability to meet the voltage rise requirement of gs 20ms, causing vac to be unable to switch to the vacin path normally. Do you have any suggestions for modifying the circuit parameter selection for this part?
