TPS25750: How to detect Sink Standby

Part Number: TPS25750

According to the PD standard, the Sink shall implement a mode called Sink Standby, with requirements that power consumption is below 2.5W.
I'm struggling to find any register values that do represent this status in the TPS25750. Could you please advice how I can get this status from the TPS25750?

I do find something in register PD status in the Host Interface Technical Reference Manual, but this has the wording "Received a GotoMin message unexpectedly.", so it seems like this is only activated during an error condition?

Hi Vidar,

Unfortunately, this is not something that is able to be read through a register. I have checked internally with our team to see if there is a workaround for this.

Hi Vidar,

TPS25750 does not have a register to provide PD current power consumption during Sink Standby. The 'Received a GotoMin message unexpectedly" fault message only reports when the PD receives a GotoMin message when it's not supposed to, it does not decode the message and report it.

The GotoMin message also only refers to the Sink Request PDO, not the PD power consumption when acting as a sink:

Is it a hard requirement for you to be able to read the PD power consumption during the Sink Standby stage?
