Hi,

I have a requirement to enable the DC-DC converter (LM5149) with a PD Controller (TPS25750) when a USB connection is detected,

and disable it when the USB is unplugged.

Is it possible to achieve this using the GPIO pin of the TPS25750?

If so, could you please guide me on how to configure it?

My understanding is that when a USB plug or CC detection occurs, I need to set GPIO6 to HIGH.

(as shown at picture below, pin GPIO6 connected directly to pin enable of DC-DC converter.)

Hi Ahmed,

Please take a look at the GPIO events below that could fit your requirement:

These events will assert high based on description and return low once the event is no longer occurring. You can assign these events to GPIO 6 via the GUI configuration tool for TPS25750 linked here: https://dev.ti.com/gallery/info/USBPD/TPS25750_Application_Customization_Tool
