Hi All,
Is there any way to disable the part without using a high side switch i.e. shorting the timing capacitor or something similar?
Thanks for any help in advance,
-Kirem

Hello Kirem,
There are three ways to keep the internal switch off. In order of preference;
1) Set pin 5 greater than 1.35V (up to VCC)
2) Set pin 3 greater than 2V (up to VCC-1V)
3) Set pin 7 less than VCC-0.5V (down to 0V)
All voltages are relative to pin 4, GND
The output will fall to zero for Buck and Inverting designs.
The output will be near VIN for boost designs.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for the quick answer. Will try to incorporate and validate on my design.
