BQ40Z50-R2: Port in learning cycle from BQ40Z50-R1 to R2

Hi!

We plan on using the BA40Z50-R2 FW but already has completed learning cycle on the R1 version.

Do we need to re do the learning cycle or is programming the chem id and copying the RA tables from R1 to R2 enough?

Hello Melvin,

No, you do not need to redo the learning cycle as long as you are using the exact same battery.
You will need to copy over the Ra table and the Qmax value.
