LM63615-Q1: VOUT short to Battery

Part Number: LM63615-Q1

Hi team,

I have a question about maximum ratings of the SW node.

I plan to use LM63615-Q1 to power off board module and the external wire has a risk to short to Battery.

So I would like to know the absolute maximum ratings of the SW node and FB pin.

FB pin is rated for 16V max at fixed output mode, so there should be no problem.

SW node is specified as -6V to 40V, but for 10ns transients only.

Is that OK to apply 16V DC to SW node when VIN is disconnected?

I think if SW is biased to 16V, then VIN is powered up through HS FET body diode and the device power up.

Then if SW=VOUT=FB=16V, then Overvoltage protection kick in and switching stops.

Is my understanding correct?

regards,
