BQ51050B: Charging current

The accuracy of the current regulation below 500mA will decrease.  Above 500mA the specifications are accurate.  

This will also present problems for termination.  For 300mA charge with termination a 10% or 30mA, the unit may not detect this point or terminate at a higher point.

If the customer can tolerate lower charge accuracy at 300mA and increase termination point of 20% this may be possible.

Do you have a Battery charger IC that can be used at 500mA or less?
Please tell me recommend product for battery charger IC of use to 500mA or less.

We have a couple of two IC solutions:

1.) TIDA-00318 -- This will combine the BQ51003 and BQ2500X charger.  This design is targeted at 500mA or less solutions.

2.) BQ25171-Q1 + BQ51013B-Q1 -- Application note SLUAAJ6
