LP8866-Q1: functional safety question

Thanks for your support always!!

I have a quick question here that since LP8866 don't have functional safety in datasheet but have FIT and FMD document. Does it mean this device don't have functional safety but can work at ASILB system?

If have any misunderstand please correct me. thanks!

LP8866 can reach system level by fit and fmd document. But LP8866 cannot support device level asil B

got it, it's make sense.

one more question that the functional safety document of 8866 and 8866S can common use? I mean if I use 8866 can I refer 8866S's FIT and FMD?

As I know that different of both is at Iout. for basic function is same. I think both document can common use just would like to double check.

The FIT is related with the power consumption.

If you use similar power consumption as document mentioned，you can use it.
