Hi TI experts...
I have a design with these parameters:
Vin = 12 V - 48 V
Vout = -12 V
Iout = 3 A
i want to put a inrush current circuit in my Vin, can you give me any recommendation about that.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. Is your controller hitting current limit during start up? What exactly do you want the circuit to do, do you need to limit the inrush current? If yes, to which value? Would it be a possibility to increase the soft start time or decrease the output capacitance? We're looking forward hearing from you.
Kind regards,
EM
sorry, press that my doubt has been solved by mistake.
I have an ITECH IT7624 power supply, and when I am powering the LM5118 at more than 15 V and turn on, the ITECH IT7624 power supply protects itself, I assume it is the inrush current.
how could I solve this? any ideas?
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback. If you cannot increase the current setting of the power supply, you might try to increase the soft start time of the LM5118, reduce its output capacitor. Alternatively, you might want to add a current limiter like this one: https://www.ti.com/product/LMP8646
Kind regards,
