I'm going to develop SMPS for the server as below.

Please recommend a solution.

There are two models.

-SPEC-
1. AC/DC model (288W)

① INPUT : 90Vac ~ 264Vac 50/60Hz (45~66Hz)

② output (288W)

-48V 3.5A(MAX 168W)

+12V 10A(MAX 120W)

2.DC/DC model (120W)

① INPUT : -38Vdc ~ -58Vdc

② output

+12V 10A(MAX 120W)

*Required Features

① Power supply redundancy mode (N+1)

②Hot Swap

③ Load share

Hi,

1) LM5032, to design two separated converters (flyback or forward from your choice) on the same controller LM5032

2) LM5021 or UCC28C53, flyback, or forward

Load share: UCC29002

Hot swap controller: TPS25961 (or go to ti.com search hot swap controller to review a better one to meet your needs)

Redundance: LM5050-1, -2 Or-ing FET controller (or go to ti.com search Or-ing FET controller)

Thank you for your support.

For AC/DC models, LM5032 was recommended, but LM5032 input can be up to dc105v.
Are you telling me to make AC/DC separately and use LM5032?

Hi,

Yes, LM5032 for AC/DC but you cannot use LM5032 VIN for startup, please refer to the datasheet section 7.3.2 to see how to start up when input voltage > 100V. So, yes, LM5032 is ok to use with input voltage > 100V.

I will use TPS25961 and LM5050-1 for the -48V line.
Do you have any data or circuits for reference?

These parts are supported by different teams, it is difficult to combine them together.
