TPS2065: pin 8 (OUT) floating

Hi 

  My customer uses AP2191 and I'd like to replace it. TPS2065DGN is almost P2P, except pin 8 (OUT). AP2191 pin 8 is NC, floating on layout.

if 1A is good enough, may I put TPS2065 pin 8 in floating? Assumed it should be fine for 1A output.

    Hi Alan，

    Floating the Pin8 will not impact the output function, but the pin 6, 7and 8 work together to support 1A continuous current, if you don't use the pin8, the max continuous current should decrease to 0.66A, that should be ok.Thank you.
